Ladies and gents,
This is a generic opening that should allow me to become familiar with this program. I was asked to start something of this sort so that people could keep better track on my life/what I am doing/where I am. It seemed like a good idea at the time; we'll have to wait and see what it turns into. For now I will only be posting about the upcoming trip, real life details will be added when I have a little more time to fit them all together. That being said, here's some juicy details.
For those that don't know, I will be leaving Potsdam June 28th, and heading back to Akron for a few days. Thursday, July 2nd I will be flying to Oakland, CA and spending approximately 10 days in the Livermore/San Fran area. After the past few years, I doubt anyone would deny that I need a vacation so I might as well give relaxation a shot. One of the many things waiting there for me is a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50. Around July 12th, I will begin the 2700 mile journey from the west coast back to Buffalo, and depending on time, straight on to the Atlantic. Of course I will be returning to Potsdam for a brief time.
I have had very mixed responses to this idea, but all I have sitting in my head is if I don't do it now, when will I. The best idea I've heard supporting it is to change it into a fundraiser for some cause. I know this is not a good time to be asking anyone for donations but the idea is certainly in the works.
As for now this Blog will serve only as a progress marker for this adventure. I plan to upload pictures and share stories nightly as I make my was across the country. Hopefully everyone will be able to enjoy them as much as I hope to enjoy the trip. I will be talking to everyone soon.
